Week (or two) in Instagrams #14

For some reason I forgot to do my Week in Instagrams post last week and I didn't take that many photos this week, so I have decided to combine my Instagrams from the past couple of weeks for this post :) Also, I am in two minds about carrying on with my Week in Instagrams post, I don't know if many people like reading them... Week in Instagrams #13

Quite a heavy Instagram post this week, I found myself just snapping pictures of random things. Despite that, I haven't really been up to that much, I went for a mooch around town and charity shopping earlier in the week, and as I haven't had a night out for a while I decided to venture in to town with some old school friends for drinks last night :)

1. This made me laugh when I got it. I doubt my mum would appreciate a Words With Friends game for Mother's Day.

2. These curtains aren't great for mornings when I want a lie-in as the sun shines straight through them :(

3. Checked out the new Essie stand in my locals Boots! 

4. My new blog design done by the lovely Felicity.

5. A Montagne Jeunesse Travel Pamper Pack to try out. A review will be up in the next week :)

6. Got way too excited when this fell through my letter box. Too cute!

7. Bacon and Cheese stuffed mushrooms.

8. My ombre/dip-dye nails :) See my post on them here.

9. Fell in love with this Lipsy maxi dress in a charity shop for only £7 but didn't pick it up because I didn't know if/when I would wear it. Definitely regretting leaving it there!

11. Smoked kipper and rice for dinner.

13. Tried the new Magnums. So good but very sickly!

16. My night out last night resulted in me randomly purchasing a photo keyring. I don't even know two of the people on it.

Week in Instagrams #12

It has been another rather boring week for me this week; all I have really been doing all week is blogging and eating (as you will be able to tell from this weeks pictures haha). I have also been emailing ideas back and forth with the lovely Felicity from Pursuit of Felicity, who is redesigning my blog for me. I have just seen my new layout on a test page, and I am so excited for it to go live on my blog!

1. I had no idea that these existed until we went on a Tesco run at the beginning of the week. I can't say I rate them though, I much prefer Jammie Dodgers; these are like bourbon biscuits but not as good :(

2. A healthy lunch of a jacket potato with tuna :)

3. A Petit Filous yoghurt. I am five.

4. I picked up this pretty little notebook in an attempt to be more organised. I use it to keep note of things I need to review and other blog post ideas :)

5. I must have had a jacket potato for dinner three days this week ha, this time I had it with salmon and mixed veg.

6. Last night was a night in with nachos with melted cheese and chilli sauce, and crappy television :)

7. It has been years since I bought a magazine to read. Been enjoying flicking through these.

8. Been loving this colour on my nails recently. It is Maybelline Forever Strong nail polish in Lilac Charm.

9. Been loading up my wardbobe with floral prints lately; where is the sun and warm weather so I can wear them?

10. I didn't realise I had so many lip products until I opened this very unorganised draw this morning!

Week in Instagrams #11

So I actually didn't do a Week in Instagrams post last week, I'm not sure why to be honest, I think I was just slacking (poor excuse, I know!). But I'm back, even though this week hasn't really been that interesting at all- I have no idea what to do with myself now that I've finished uni until September haha!

1. I had never tried these before but I now think that they are the best Cornettos going- Cookie flavoured ice cream with chocolate sauce in the centre, mmm!

2. I realise that this probably isn't the best start to my week haha, but more chocolate! My mum got these for Mother's Day and they were left untouched until the other day... now they're nearly gone!

3. A little bit healthier this time, this is what I made for my breakfast/lunch (I have been having a lot of lie-ins lately haha)- A whole wheat pitta bread with a little bit of mozzarella, ham and mushrooms on top, popped under the grill for a couple of minutes :)

4. I won this bracelet from Cutey and it arrived the next day! I love it, it's so pretty and it was presented so well :)

5. Whenever I go to town with one of my friends, we spend ages in Debenhams smelling all the Yankee Candles. Heaven!

6. I need this candle in my life! It smells exactly like Vanilla Cupcakes, so good!

7. How funny/ cute is this t-shirt design?

8. My little robot necklace; I'm still yet to name him! So far people have suggested Pedro, Percy and Rob, which I think are all really cute :) Any more suggestions?

9. Settled down last night with a bottle of Mixed Fruit Kopparberg and Britain's Got Talent :)

Week in Instagrams #10

Nothing that interesting has happened this week really, I just seem to have accumulated quite a few photos of random crap haha. I have finally submitted all my work for second year though, so I am now free from uni until September! Not a clue what to do with myself for the next five months though, a lot of blogging is definitely on the cards, and hopefully I'll find a job and get to attend a few Blogger meets over the Summer! :)

1. A bacon and cheese toastie to start the week. Perfect.

2. Little chick easter chocolate .

3. I love the Keep Calm and Carry On app on the iPhone. I look through the quotes when I need a bit of inspiration or cheering up.

4. Treated myself to a few summery nail polishes :)

5. The best special fried rice (or farm fried rice, as I like to call it) from the chippy down the road.

6. Had a third year preparation session at uni on Thursday, where we played with Lego. Yes, you read that correctly; soon-to-be third years... at uni... playing with Lego...

7. We're having a shiny new building built ready for our lectures in September so it's goodbye to this building! It will not be missed!

9. Angry Birds keyrings that my dad got me from the Philippines :)

10. He also bought me a bunny ears phone case, which I love. So tacky haha :)

12. Obsessed with these little miniture jellies which I got from the Philippines. You can also get them in places like China Town, I believe :)

13 & 14. Went out for lunch with the parents today, had garlic breaded mushrooms to start, followed by a Sunday Roast. Om nom nom!

Week in Instagrams #9 + BB Afternoon Tea!

I've managed to take quite a few Instagram photos this week, whilst trying to avoid doing my university assignments. As soon as I publish this post I have to confine myself from any social activity and dive in to the dark realms of uni work :( With 4,000 words to write in three days, I know I will be kicking myself for leaving it so late (again) later.

1. Love getting things in the post! Recently it seems I get more mail than my parents, oh how things have changed!

2. The Montagne Jeunesse products that I am trying out for you all! You can read my first review here.

3. Been shoving my hair up in a top knot quite a bit lately. I'm really self concious when I have my hair up, I think I have a head like a potato.

4 & 5. Went for a lovely meal at Little Frankies with an old girl friend. I had stuffed mushrooms and a chicken and bacon philly wrap with chips. Yum!

6. Helped my grandparents clear out their cupboards on Thursday and came across my dad's High School reports! Had a good giggle flicking through them haha.

7. The dinner that my grandma cooked for me. Cheeseburger and chips; so good!

8. Does anybody remember these Micropetz? I must have had this for nearly ten years.

The next few photos are from the Beauty Bloggers Afternoon Tea which I attended in Sheffield yesterday. I originally planned on doing a whole separate post on it but I ended up having to dash off early and didn't take any photos on my camera :( We met at the Oasis eating area in Meadowhall where Lizzie was waiting with huge goodie bags for us all! We had a bite to eat and then went for a mooch around the shops. I bought a few things from Primark that I will probably show you in the next couple of days :)

10. All ready to go! I must admit, I didn't enjoy the train journey. Train journeys that are more than half an hour bore me so much :(

11. The goodie bags that Lizzie kindly put together for us! They were really pretty.

12. A giant Yorkshire Pudding for lunch :)

13. Three girls didn't show up so there were a few goodie bags left over. We ended up emptying them and sharing the contents between each other.

Week in Instagrams #8

Happy Easter, lovelies! I hope you are all having a lovely day indulging in copious amounts of chocolate, especially those of you who gave it up for lent!

It has been quite an eventful week for me in terms of plans this week. Usually I am just slobbing at home in my pyjamas but for most of the past week I've been up and out seeing friends and making progress on the last of my uni work.

1. An unhealthy start to the week. I never usually eat McDonalds but I was starving and my friend dragged me in there so I couldn't resist!

2. Topshop jewellery sale purchases! Me and my friend must have been stood at the stand for about twenty minutes trying to decide what to buy, the guy at the till was laughing at us when we paid haha! You can see my haul here.

3. I went bowling for the first time in nearly four years as part of a fundraiser for a friend who is doing a Mount Kilimanjaro climb. I was a little rusty but it was fun :)

4. I reached 500 followers on Wednesday, which I am so, so grateful for! You can enter my 500 follower giveaway here.

5. I dyed my hair this colour. I hadn't dyed my hair in about two years so I was a little apprehensive at first, but I do like the colour and it is only semi-permanent anyway.

6. Was doing my washing the other day and my mum had bought these new washing tablets. I turned the tub over to read the instructions and they were all in French :S uh...

7. Probably the healthiest meal I have eaten since I finished uni haha.

8. Started studding my loafers. I can tell this is going to take me a while... I will document it and write a DIY post once I've finished them though :)

9 & 10. My Buyapowa purchases arrived! Wasn't expecting these to come until after the bank holiday, will do posts on them soon!

11. I went out with one of my friends last night, and some random guy slipped this piece of paper in my hand as he walked past. Pulled! Haha, I don't think I will be phoning it any time soon!

12. My Easter stash! I don't think I will be devouring it all today!

13. My grandma got me a giant walnut whip! I love walnut whips- I wish this was actually a giant one, but it actually has five small ones inside.

Week in Instagrams #7

I didn't actually do as much as I wanted to this week, but I did manage to take quite a few Instagram photos anyway :) Most of them were taken on Tuesday when the weather was so hot and sunny. It was glorious on Sunday and Monday too but I was stuck at home on those days :( On another note, I also finished university for Summer on Thursday. Yes, my course leaders are that sick of us that they're not bothering pulling us back after Easter ;) I have a couple of assignments to submit in the next two weeks but apart from that I am free until September, which hopefully means more blogging! :D

 

 

 

 

 

1. Just a quick FOTN from when I went out in the previous week.

2. Went for a lovely summery walk on Tuesday with a friend. We walked for miles, was definitely a good work out!

3. Bared the legs outside for the first time this year. Managed to get a bit of a tan, too! :)

4. A sunglasses shot. I never know what to do with my face in shots like this aha!

5. Ice creeaaam!

6. When we got back into town we treated ourselves to a Wetherspoons dinner to refuel. Was definitely needed!

7. My friend definitely caught the sun haha!

8. Got a sudden craving for some chocolate cake late in the evening, so I ran down to the shop before it shut and bought this.

9. Eek, I had chocolate cake two days in a row! Aha, this time I tried one of those five minute chocolate cake in a mug recipes. It was yummy :)

10. I definitely need to start carrying make-up wipes in my bag...

11. After swatching everything in Superdrug, I settled on these. Review coming soon!

Week in Instagrams #6 + New Twitter!

Hello girls, I have another really short Instagram post for you today, it has been another uninteresting week this week. One thing I want to mention before I get on to the main post though, is that I have created a new twitter account for my beauty/fashion/blog related tweets. A lot of you may follow me on my @Francesss__ account. However I felt that my blog post tweets and taking part in the #bbloggers chat every Sunday were annoying my non-blogger followers, and also that my personal rants may be annoying you girls :/ so I created a blog twitter to separate the two.  I also want to keep my personal account private so I will be protecting it in a few days time, although I have no problem if you want to follow that account too, just send me a follow request and I will happily accept :) So, my blog account is @FCassandraBlog and my personal account is still @Francesss__ :)

5. Went on a night out in Liverpool with the lovely people on my course :) Had a fab night and this is what I wore :)

6. My recording equipment. Attempted to record a new cover song but I don't know if I will make it in to a video yet, I'm still a little rusty!

Week in Instagrams #5

So after my last post I thought I would just take a break for the remainder of last week just to give my mind a bit of a rest and I think I'm ready to make a come back... F**k the people trying to bring me down :) so here's my past week in Instagrams, I managed to take a few more photos than last week :)

 
1. Crispy M&Ms, the best M&Ms in my opinion! Who agrees?

2. My old old pink iPod mini, remember these? Mine is actually still going strong haha!

3. You can always count on your pet to give you a cuddle when you need one.

4. Got way too in to staring at my brother's fish tank when I was stranded at their house for a few hours one night.

5. I didn't even know they made tubs of Sudocrem this tiny! How cute?! Haa.

6. Did anybody else go and pick up their free Starbucks last Wednesday? They spelt my name wrong :(

7. We had to film this duo as part of our TV Studio module at uni. They make such good music, I fell in love a little bit. Check them out on YouTube, they're called TJ and Murphy; if you're in to acoustic music with a small hint of country then you will love them.

8. My mum works in catering and she brought home this tray of sandwiches one night. Needless to say, I didn't eat them all.

9. Went out for a few drinks on St. Patrick's night. I am definitely not a wine person anyway, but this was especially unpleasant to my taste buds.

10. Just a sneak peek of what I wore on my St Patrick's night out. A proper Outfit of the Night post will be up in the next couple of days :) Did you do anything for St. Paddy's?

11. Picked up the Cadbury's Philadelphia to see what all the fuss was about whilst it is on offer for buy one get one free in Tesco. I didn't think I'd like it but it is actually quite nice, the cheese taste is very mild.

Week in Instagrams #4

It has been a pretty boring week this week so I didn't take many Instagram photos; it has been more stressful to be honest, which is again why I haven't blogged much this week :( Bare with me lovelies, I'm fighting through it!  Here are the pictures I did take though- hopefully next week will be a lot better! 1. I used my Lush Leap Frog bath ballistic at the beginning of the week and found the secret message :)

2. I bought a ring on eBay and it came in this tiny envelope. Made me laugh that it still had to be posted as a Large. Royal Mail is ridic.

3 and 4. I have become slightly addicted to the Draw Something app on the iPhone. I was quite impressed with my Pikachu drawing :) The tiger is one that a guy I was playing with drew, it really made me laugh! If you'd like to play Draw Something with me, my username is 'francescassandr' (the 'a' wouldn't fit ): ).

5. I received my Experience Days gift card that I won on a giveaway by the lovely Leanne from A Slice of My Life. Thanks, Leanne, I can't wait to treat myself! :)

6. I have a "Keep Calm and Carry On" phone case on my iPhone, so I thought I would match it with this "Now Panic and Freak Out" wallpaper.

7. I started sorting out my make-up storage today and dug up all my nail polishes that were dotted around the house. I didn't realise I had so many!
