Soap & Glory Cosmetics: Thick & Fast Mascara Review

I’m sure most of you will have read about the amazing ‘Big Splendour’ set by Soap & Glory by now, and like nearly every blogger I couldn’t resist the amazing offer. But when I opened the box the offers didn’t stop there! Included was a voucher for a whopping 200 bonus Boots points for spending £10 on Soap & Glory’s new cosmetics range. Another excuse to buy Soap & Glory?  Yes please!

The stand itself was very appealing, all pink and pretty, and full of lovely looking products. The blushes in particular looked really nice, but I ended up going for their Thick & Fast mascara which retails at a very reasonable price of £10. The box it comes in is so cute, I don’t want to throw it away! The tube itself feels quite heavy and nice quality, and has a nice clean and simple black and pink design on it.

In comparison to other mascaras I have used, I would definitely put this up there with brands like Chanel and Mac. It stays on well all day and doesn’t flake or irritate my eyes like cheaper brands often do. It is actually very similar to Benefit’s Bad Gal Lash; the supersize brush, the consistency, the quality, and the design of the tube, but £6.50 cheaper!

Taking into consideration that I have horrible short eyelashes and don’t get on well with eyelash curlers, I think this product is pretty good. I’ve been using it for a few days now and it hasn’t clumped at all- it separates the lashes but still thickens them which is great. It has also made my lashes look a bit longer and fanned out! Hurrah!

After about 6 years of searching for my perfect mascara, I think I have found it! I really love this product! I’m a big fan of Soap & Glory’s bath/skin care products but was a little sceptical about a cosmetics range as their unique selling point is the amazing smells and the retro packaging, but I don’t really like garish packaging for cosmetics, and I also thought Benefit’s cosmetics would be too similar with the pun product names and similar style packaging. But I have now been persuaded otherwise! They have toned down the packaging for their make-up products and made it more simple, and the products all look to be of good quality in on trend shades.  I can’t wait to try out some more Soap & Glory cosmetics products soon!

If you try any products from Soap & Glory cosmetics let me know if they’re as fabulous as this mascara! @rosielizziebeth

Thank you to Frances for letting me write for her fabulous blog! Hope you all enjoyed reading!
