For a long time now I have haven't really been a much of a trousers person. I have longed to have a staple pair of pants in my wardrobe but my legs are a part of my body that I never really loved, and every pair of skinny jeans I tried on just weren't skinny enough and the baggier styles made me look "boxy". I needed a new pair of trousers for a job interview a while ago though, and whilst I was skeptical that the "peg leg" style that seemed to be popping up on the rails everywhere was going to do me any favours, I grabbed this burgundy pair in my size, took them in to the changing rooms and walked out moments later with my new favourite pair of trousers. I don't know- they just seem to fall right on me; they're not meant to be tight fitting meaning I don't have to worry about wrinkly knees or being uncomfortable, but the tapered cut and centre crease makes them streamlined enough that I don't look boxy. I also love how versatile they are in that I am able to wear them casually or dress them up a little for smarter occasions.
What is your go-to style of trousers? Do you like the peg-leg style?
