We all know that if we won the lottery we would treat ourselves to a Mulberry bag and a pair of Louboutins or three. However, since a lot of us are students and a meal at a sit-in restaurant is considered a treat to us, we will have to keep dreaming for now. Thankfully, the high street is around to save our day, taking a lot of inspiration from the catwalks and coming up with similar designs for more forgiveable prices. The quality may not always be as immaculate as designer pieces but that is something that I can look past if I am saving myself some pennies. Whilst mooching around at the classy clothes, shoes and bags at Avenue32, a luxury clothing website, I decided to see if I could find some high street dupes for some of their pieces.
1. Designer: No. 21 £380.00
High Street: Glamorous £26.99
2. Designer: Mother Denim £215.00
High Street: Topshop £38.00
3. Designer: Hermione de Paula £140.00
High Street: Topshop £22.00
4. Designer: Preen £1,005.00
High Street: Motel £35.00
5. Designer: Ahilya £357.00
High Street: East £12.50
Do you like to treat yourself to a luxury piece every now and again? Or are you a high street dupes girl all the way?
