100 Things: 21- 30

Part three of the list of things I like/ that make me happy :)
All photos were found on We Heart It

21. Being wrapped up warm when it is raining outside.

22. Bailey's Hot Chocolate.

23. Scented candles/ oil burners

24. Back rubs/ massages.

25. Watching it snow outside.

26. Chinese food.

27. Getting dressed up.

28. Scents that remind you of something/ someone.

29. Receiving phone calls "just to say hello".

30. Shopping.

Right, girls, I'm having a major falling out with Blogger at the moment. A lot of the blogs I'm following aren't showing up in my Reading List, so I am missing a lot of posts. They will show up every now and then, but half of them will disappear again. It's driving me insane, does this happen to anybody else?

NOTD #4: Mavala Flashy Violet

I have never tried a Mavala nail polish before, so when I won Strawberry Picnic's giveaway and saw this in the prize, I was quite excited to try it.

This polish has a really nice consistency, it applies smoothly, although it needed a couple of coats because the first one was a little streaky. It was definitely hard to take pictures to do this polish justice seeing as we're not getting much daylight at this time of the year, but it really is pretty.

It doesn't show up very well in the photographs but it is a dark purple shade with very fine blue shimmer running through it. The thing I really like about it is that it isn't one of those dark blues or purples that shows up black unless you're stood under the right light.
It dried really fast after I applied it which is always a good thing. I can't really comment on the longevity of it's wear yet because I literally applied it just half an hour ago haha, I do have high hopes for it though.

I just thought I would share with you the other things I won in Strawberry Picnic's giveaway :) Emily wrapped my prizes up in Christmas wrapping paper which was really lovely :)

Denman Keyring Hairbrush, Mavala Nail Polish in Flashy Violet, Rituals Silkening Lip Treatment, Avon Glazewear Lipstick in Berry Wine, MUA Extreme Felt Eyeliner.

I love everything that she sent me so thank you again, Emily! :)

Blog Award- The Versatile Blogger

So Miss Sunshine and Sparkle Danielle was lovely enough to nominate me for The Versatile Blogger Award, which is my very first award on here! :) Please, if you haven't already done so, check out her blog at:

The Rules for this award are very straight forward and simple. All you need to do is

1. Thank the person who nominated you and give them a shout out on your blog with a link to their blog

2. Share 7 random facts about yourself (as random as you like)

3. Send on the award to 15 other bloggers whose blogs that you appreciate and then let them know that they have won the award.

Here are my 7 Facts:
1. The nickname my family calls me is "Munch". I have had that nickname since I was a few months old.

2. My biggest dream in life is to be able to pay back my loved ones for everything they have given to me.

3. I am half Filipino.

4. I am a perfectionist but I hate it.

5. I am massively soppy and anything cute makes me go weak at the knees.

6. My favourite number is 13.

7. I am terrified of spiders and I cry at the sight of them.

And here are my nominations (in no particular order) :)

Like Danielle, I haven't nominated 15 people because a lot of the lovely bloggers I follow already have this award... I'm not even sure that the people I have nominated haven't been nominated before, I have just selected the ones who don't have the badge displayed on their blog. At the same time, I'm sure I may have missed out some as I was skimming through my huge blog list!

I hope that the bloggers who I have nominated pass this on so that more versatile bloggers can get this award! :)

Wednesday Wishlist #2

I have really been wanting to try this blusher as it is supposed to be a good dupe for the Nars Orgasm blush but for a fraction of the price. It always seems to be sold out in my local Superdrugs every time I go and look though :(

I love this necklace. It is a replica of Nicole Richie's House of Harlow leather drop necklace, and I think it would nicely jazz up a plain blouse.

My wardrobe is seriously lacking in Fairisle Print this winter and I live in leggings so I really like these. I have been wanting a pair of leather panel leggings aswell, I think they are very versatile and can be worn in the daytime to add a bit of edge to an outfit or on a night out.

I have been wanting a bralet for a while but couldn't find one that I really liked. Topshop sells some really nice ones and I fell in love with this one as soon as I saw it. It looks a bit scary to wear though, but I think I would just team it with a high-waisted flowy skirt to tone it down a little bit.

I need a new bag to take on nights out and I think I would prefer a clutch as they are more secure in my hand, rather than down by my side on a strap. I love the skull detailing on this one and it looks quite roomy.

6. Tangle Teezer £11.99
I have always used cheap, nasty hair brushes, and they hurt and definitely do damage to my hair. I have heard loads of good things about the tangle teezer so I want to try it out.

What have you had your eye on this week?

Shop Update: New Stock!

I have updated my shop in time for Christmas and added new stock :) Me and my dad hand make and sell feather earrings. We have a variety of colours, ranging from bright neon to more natural shades, and the fittings are gold plated.

These would be great as stocking fillers or as part of a Secret Santa gift, or even just to wear during the party season :) If you would like to take a look, click here to go to my shop!

Here are just a few of my favourite pieces:

I hope you like them! Of course, there is more information on my Shop page, but if you still have any questions, feel free to ask :)

What's In My Bag?

I've seen quite a few bloggers do a "What's In My Bag?" post and I love to read them, so I thought I would do my own :) I guess this could be quite a dull post, as I have recently cleared my bag out of all the old receipts and other random bits and bobs that have collected in there over the last few weeks. I hope you enjoy having a little nosey at what I carry around anyway :)

This is the bag itself; I carry this one round on a day-to-day basis. I really need a new one as this is just a bag that I picked up from Primark for about £8.00 just before I started uni again. I do like it though, and I can fit quite a lot in to it.

Purse
I need to buy myself a new purse aswell, this one is falling apart a little bit. I bought this from Primark about a year and a half ago and it holds all my notes, cards and spare change.

Makeup Bag
I got this little Dermalogica makeup bag in my October Glossybox and I think it's a perfect size to carry around with me in my bag. I always carry a few hair bands, hair grips and a lip balm in my makeup bag, and the rest I just throw in depending on what makeup I am wearing that day. Today I have my Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer, my Rimmel London blusher in Smoked Oyster, and my MUA lipstick in Shade 2. I always keep a few perfume samples in there aswell :)

Passport, Gym key, Pen Drive, Pens and Highlighter
I can never be bothered with a pencil case so I just throw my pens and pen drive in the front pocket of my bag. I keep my gym key loose aswell so that I can find it easily whenever I go to the gym. I carry my passport around with me aswell as a form of I.D. as I don't have a drivers licence :( I hate carrying it around in case I lose it!

Keys
On here I have my house key, my university flat electronic key fob, my room key and the key to the mail box. I also have the name key ring that my sister-in-law gave to me, and a teddy bear key ring which I bought when I went to New York :) It used to have "I heart NY" on it's front but it rubbed off :(

 Hand Cream
I got this Arbonne hand creme in my November Glossy box and thought it was good size for my hand bag so now I always have it in there. I have been needing a hand cream to keep my hands from chapping in the cold weather aswell, and this one is pretty good (apart from the smell- it reminds me of orange flavoured medicine).

 A Book
I carry a book in my bag to read on train journeys. I am usually on the train for at least half an hour  when I am travelling between university and home and I find train journeys to be so boring. At the moment I am reading The Memory Keeper's Daughter :)

iPod
And finally, this is my retro iPod which sadly died today :( I have had it for about five or six years and it has been on it's last legs for a while but now it won't stay on for more than five minutes, even after a full charge :( God knows what I am going to do whilst I am travelling until I can get a replacement.

So that is everything I carry in my bag :) Feel free to ask any questions, and if you have a post similar to this, post a link, I'd love to read it :)
