Outfit: Festival Bunting

Top: C/O Sugarhill Boutique* (buy) | Skirt: C/O Poppy Lux * (buy) | Shoes: Matalan (old) | Hair pins: Miss Selfridge (old)

It has been a little while since I had my last Sugarhill Boutique fix and I'll admit that I had almost forgotten how much I love the brand until their SS15 lookbook found it's way in to my inbox. In less than five clicks they had won me over yet again- I mean, it's hard to pass up a dress covered in Dalmatians and Corgis, isn't it? Feeling inspired by a couple of the looks that their gorgeous model was sporting in their lookbook, I opted for a midi skirt and t-shirt combo, and please, can we just take a minute to appreciate this elephant print that was hand-drawn by a complete design genius in the Sugarhill Boutique studio? I predict a new best seller coming on- I have my eye on the dreamy smock dress version, too.

Teamed with this classic PU panel midi skirt by Sugarhill's sister brand, Poppy Lux, which they now aptly describe as "a complimentary brand of wearable basics with trend-led shapes and finishes", I think I have found one of my favourite pairings for the Spring. And just when I thought I couldn't be more smitten, I tried it on to find that it has pockets. The little things, guys...

Have you taken a look at Sugarhill/Poppy Lux's Spring/Summer range?

Outfit: Big Bird.

Blouse: C/O Sugarhill Boutique* (buy here) | Jeans: C/O She Likes* (old) | Jacket: C/O Ravi Famous* (buy here) | Boots: Primark | Hat: Primark | Rings: Rare London (buy here)

So the name of this post came to be when my best friend- who was taking my photographs for me this morning- stroked the arm of my jacket and said, "You're a bit like Big Bird from Sesame Street". Boys can be so charming, no?

This super soft shaggy fur jacket from Ravi Famous is one of my go-to pieces during this transitional time of year; it is snug enough to protect you from the odd chilly breeze but it doesn't fasten up, making it easy to throw on top of an outfit when the weather gets a little cooler. I also seem to be reconciling my love for blouses- I couldn't get enough of printed button-up shirts last year but this heart-print Sugarhill Boutique number is the first one to be added to my collection in quite a while and I think navy and cream is a difficult combination to get wrong at this time of year!

What are your go-to Autumn/Winter pieces?

Outfit: I Was Born A Unicorn.

Dress: C/O Sugarhill Boutique* | Shoes: C/O Mocks* | Hat and Rings: C/O Rare London* | Watch: Tommy Hilfiger C/O Shade Station

The cutesy bicycle, lovebird and gramophone prints that Sugarhill are so well known for have always got me lusting over their pieces, but this new design had me feeling things I've never felt before. Put white unicorns on a dusky blue chiffon dress in a flattering skater style and there isn't much more I could ask for in an every day dress; needless to say, I have lived in this for the past couple of weeks.
I also need to take a moment to express my adoration for these shoes. Admittedly, when I was introduced to these for the first time I recoiled a little at the idea of water proof, plastic shoes- Glorified Crocs, anybody?! But whilst Crocs are something that I will never be okay with, these I have become quite accustomed to- They're sleek, lightweight and the leather trim gives them a more stylish look than their chunky, clog-shaped distant relatives. And I must admit, the fact that they can be easily washed clean is pretty convenient. Mocks, I approve! <3

Do you love Sugarhill's Unicorn print?
What do you think of Mocks?

Outfit: Scallops and Lace.

Dress: C/O Sugarhill Boutique* | Socks: Primark | Shoes: C/O Tribeca Shoes* | Hat: H&M | Bunny Ring: Dorothy Perkins | Bow Midi-Ring: Forever 21| Watch: Tommy Hilfiger C/O Shadestation*

After a miserable, rainy weekend, I was more than happy to see the sun making an appearance today, however, that is a very deceiving ball of fire in the sky as I was still absolutely freezing taking these pictures- Definitely glad I left my frilly ankle socks at home in favour of my over-the-knees!

If you are in to peter pan collars, cutesy prints and vintage-inspired pieces then you better head on over to Sugarhill Boutique. The combination of lace, scallop detailing and the peter pan collar on this number leaves me with little else to desire in a single dress, and their new Spring collection full of bicycle, camera and duck prints is leaving me wanting more! Not to mention this bright coral dress which is getting me far too excited about Summer!
