So, I know I said in my last post (this time last week) that normal blogging would resume. However, my laptop has had other ideas and has done everything it could to make sure that no blog posts were written and no progress was made on my university work. I will hopefully be taking it to be fixed some time this week and after that I will be back to blogging regularly.
Anyway, last night I ended up having no plans to celebrate the New Year, but if I did, then this is what I would have been wearing to dance the night away. I was never one for sequinned dresses- I always had the idea in my head that they were a bit tacky and "chavvy", but maybe that's just after seeing them styled badly on some of the not-so-classy girls around where I live haha. I thought I'd give one a go, however, and when this Lavish Alice dress dropped through my letter box I instantly fell in love. It fits perfectly and the sparkle overload doesn't look as brash and scary as I thought it would. And since getting this dress, my wardrobe has gained a second sparkly number. And we'll all live happily ever after.
Did you all have an amazing New Year?
